Envy 'Set Yourself on Fire' Album Launch Party - Cargo, London - 19th March 2010. Hosted ny Akira The Don, with guest performances from Paris1, Tor, DJ Scratcha DVA... I missed the first half of the show after a late shift at work that day. I was able to however catch the 2nd half and catch the lady Envy perform 'Set Yourself on Fire', 'Nadine' with Nadine aka Morty - Black Piranhas in the crowd supporting, 'Tongue Twister' one of my favourite tracks, 'Chips In My Dip' and 'On The Horizon' to name a few. Souls of Mischief in concert - London's Jazz Cafe, Camden 14th March 2010 - Supporting acts Genesis Elijah, Skandal, with DJ's Charlie Brown & BBC's 1XTRA DJ Sarah Love. It was a great night, the opening of the show was warmed up by DJ Charlie Brown, Skandal smashed it with performances taken off his new EP 'A Quick Snap' out on Itunes - 'Kill em' Wit The Flow' feat Skandal, Black the Ripper & Little Dee. 1Xtra's Hip Hop finest & inspiration DJ Sarah Love rocked a great set, followed by Genesis Elijah getting the crowd vibes up with his smashing performances on tracks 'Power', 'Do I Worry', 'Belly Full' to name a few taken off the 'Civil Unrest' EP available from Amazon, Itunes etc. I knew more of the words than he did LOL as I recall Gen saying =) By this time we was ready for Souls of Mischief. They came out and performed classics '93' til' infinity', the hip hop collective, Hieroglyphics songs from various albums. The entire set was dope from start til the end. California, Oakland - West Coast vibes in the building.
















MF Doom - A Taste of Sonar @ The Roundhouse 5th March 2010. The first time in his career to have ever performed in London http://watchlooksee.com/a-taste-of-sonar-the-roundhouse-london/ also check out official pictures via the Stonesthrow site http://www.stonesthrow.com/news/2010/03/doom-in-london - An experience & feeling i've never felt before to be in standing in the front row of MF Doom's theatrical stage performance. Enjoyed every part of it while everyone goes crazy as he comes to the stage with the mask on. Never took it off though so I couldn't get a glimpse - oh well. Still a great performance well worth the wait and see factor. Shouts out to my jammin' crew on the night K-Nitw, Skillit & the peeps =)

Statik Selektah & Saigon live from there London concert - 4th March 2010. Statik Selektah renowened DJ / Producer from Boston owns www.showoffhiphop.com/ catch hearing him spin via the Showoff site. The first time I began listening to his music was when I heard about his remixes for Nas on 'The Prophecy Vol.2' released in 2006. My favourite song from it had to be 'Life's Gone Down'. Saigon on the other hand I appreciated for his hard hitting lyracism. He came out with with such video's 'Dreams' & 'Pain In My Life' which he performed on the night.
